Who We Are

The University of Maine Center on Aging Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) engages folks 55 and older in meaningful volunteer opportunities in our local communities across Penobscot, Piscataquis, Hancock, and Washington counties. We target recruitment around providing senior volunteers to serve by reading aloud to young children, leading senior exercise programs, assisting in various ways to combat food insecurity, and other miscellaneous volunteering experiences, including virtual ones.
