You will have the opportunity to earn two gift cards for a total value of $50 ($20 at beginning and $30 at completion of study) to Hannaford Supermarket for participating in the study. Participants will be asked to take tests of memory and thinking at two time points, fill out questionnaires and take part in a weekly one-hour music group for 12 sessions. Visits will either take place in the community group room at your residential facility (when applicable) or at a location at the University of Maine in Orono or Bangor (depending on which group is more convenient for you). You may be eligible if: • You are at least fifty-five years old • No physical limitations that prohibits playing musical recorder • No major problems with mood, memory or thinking skills • Able to sit for one-hour • Willingness to participate in music group and two cognitive assessments The study is being conducted by Drs.
