Maine’s Lifelong Community Landscape — Have you been curious about how the Age-Friendly Maine action plan ties in with local lifelong community initiatives? James Moorhead from the Office of Aging and Disability Services will share the state action plan and provide examples of how lifelong community work can benefit from the statewide effort. James will be joined by Jess Maurer, Executive Director of the Maine Council on Aging, and Noel Bonam, AARP Maine Executive Director, who will share how local grassroots initiatives can benefit from their resources.
Maine’s Lifelong Community Leaders will share:
  • Experiences of Maine’s lifelong leaders in creating and embedding leadership development in their work
  • Tips and Tricks for helping your age-friendly, lifelong community develop local, sustainable leadership
  • Insights on inclusive local leadership development
