I am a Ph.D. candidate working on the Maine Syracuse Longitudinal Study.  We study the role of cardiovascular function in cognitive performance and I am doing my dissertation on the associations between homocysteine, cognitive performance, and symptoms of depression.  Because of our unique dataset, we are able to observe these associations over periods as long as 35 years and we are able to use this information to build advanced statistical models predicting cognitive performance in older age.
