Registration is Now Open for the 19th Annual Clinical Geriatrics Colloquium

About the Nineteenth Annual Colloquium

In the context of a rapidly expanding technological world, this year’s colloquium, available via Zoom only, will focus on how a wide range of technological advances are influencing the lives of the aging population. Technological innovation provides an array of both benefits and potential challenges for older adults and those who serve them.

Topics to be addressed will include: the emerging role of AI in healthcare and dementia assessment, technology-driven independent living options, the use and growth of telehealth; the impact of technology on the risk of social loneliness and social isolation; the rise in online older adult scams; advancing older adults’ digital literacy and inclusion; and much more.

Authorities will gather via Zoom before a broad audience of health and human service professionals and older adult healthcare consumers to consider the clinical and personal impacts of technology on the aging population.
