John L. Painter, MS is a Central Maine Resident Service Coordinator for Weston Associates Inc., a real estate development and management firm based in Boston, MA.  John has over 20 years of experience in developing, working, and over-seeing community based mental health services in Maine, and holds a Master Degree in Psychiatric Rehabilitation from Rutgers University.  He has been progressively involved in developing community based supportive services for older adults with behavioral health needs to age in place.  John continuously seeks opportunities for collaboration with other individuals and groups interested in expanding resources for people to successfully age in the community of their choice. He works with HUD qualified low income housing programs at Weston Associates for senior citizens, and has a serious interest in universal design of tiny homes placed in mixed communities as a safe and affordable living option for older adults.
