Hiring a Program Manager

We are hiring! We’re excited to announce that the University of Maine Center on Aging is seeking a Program Manager to join the Lifelong Maine team. Do you enjoy the wonderful messiness of new program development? As Program Manager, your main responsibility will be to oversee the Community Connections pilot program. In this role, you’ll work alongside communities that are launching a local navigator program to help older residents connect with essential services and social opportunities. The Program Manager participates as a member of the Center on Aging professional team in developing, administering, tracking, and presenting research, evaluation, and related projects so there is no lack of variety and opportunity in this position. Successful candidates will have (1) a Masters Degree in Social work or a related discipline; (2) experience working alongside community-led initaitives and collaborating with regional organizations and external funders; and (3) post-graduate experience in program management, research, and evaluation methodologies.
