Rachel Coleman is a Project Manager serving the Virtual Volunteerism project and the AmeriCorps Workforce Development project at the Center on Aging. Her background includes social sciences, policy, data analysis, and climate change trends and community resilience. Among varied research topics, Rachel is interested in collaborative and community-centered research and translating research into practice toward equitable outcomes and community resilience. Rachel has a Master of Public Policy and a Master of Sociology from the University of New Hampshire and a Ph.D. in Ecology and Environmental Sciences from the University of Maine.
