Melanie Marchman

Melanie achieved her BA in English and studio art from Georgetown University and went on to earn her nursing degree at the University of New Mexico. She will receive her master of social work from the University of Maine in the spring of 2024. Her background in both humanities and biological science informed a framework of healing that involves the whole person across the adult lifespan, with an integrative approach that uplifts the strengths and resiliency in each individual. Her clinical work and interests focus on healing from PTSD and a trauma-informed approach to a variety of mental and behavioral health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and substance use. Melanie works to foster a space for whole-person wellness, where safety and respect can create the conditions for healing.
